Classroom Environment

In the small groups possible in the Learning Support environment, students are able to work more closely with their teacher and other students. Our room is small, but we do BIG learning!

Schedule

The schedule for Learning Support is very flexible throughout the year. Please email me or give me a call to find out what's going on in room 200A.

About Me

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Eastern Washington University and my Masters degree in Elementary Education from Whitworth College. I believe that the most important gifts I can give a child are curiosity about the wonders of the world and the skills to pursue them. A child who is proving to him- or herself that they possess the tools to follow their interests will become and remain fascinated with our magnificent world, confident in the pursuit of his or her dreams.

I am the mother of three grown children, a daughter and two sons, of whom I am endlessly proud. I love reading, gardening, traveling, and knitting. I also harbor a not-so-secret yearning to learn to fly and skydive!

Many cultural designs are based on mathematical principles.   Using this software will help students learn standards-based mathematics as they simulate the original artifacts, and develop their own creations.
