Fire Department Visits McDonald
On Wednesday, October 10 the Spokane Valley Fire Department visited McDonald Elementary second graders. Students got to get up close to a real fire engine, hear lots of great information from real firemen, and hear a fire engine siren from 20 feet away!

- 3-ring binder – 2” metal rings with dividers
- 3 college-ruled spiral notebooks
- 12 - #2 pencils (mechanical or regular)
- 2 Black or blue ballpoint pens (not gel pens)
- Pencil erasers
- Colored pencils
- Crayons
- Felt-tip markers
- Dry-erase pens (3 recommended)
- Scissors
- Ruler (with standard and metric measurements)
- Calculator (scientific not necessary) – optional
- White school glue
- Glue sticks
- Kleenex (large box)
