Fire Department Visits McDonald
On Wednesday, October 10 the Spokane Valley Fire Department visited McDonald Elementary second graders. Students got to get up close to a real fire engine, hear lots of great information from real firemen, and hear a fire engine siren from 20 feet away!

Fourth Grade Supplies List
Supplies to be shared:
- Wooden Rulers (Both metric and standard)
- Sharp scissors
- 2 black dry erase markers
- 1 bottle white Elmer's glue2 packages of colored pencils and 48 #2 pencils
- 2 boxes of Kleenex
- 2 black ink pens
- 1 yellow highlighter
Supplies to be stored in your desk:
- Markers (wide and fine point)
- Crayons
- Small pencil box
- 3-ring binder - 1" rings (please no large binders or trapper keepers)
- Clipboard
- 2 packages of college-ruled lined, paper
- 1 college-ruled spiral notebook
* Please no backpacks on wheels due to closet space limitations
