MISSION STATEMENT:

We the staff and tradesmen of Central Valley School District's

Maintenance Department are dedicated to maintaining

the District's facilities and grounds in order to provide a

safe, comfortable, and accommodating learning environment for

our Students, Parents, Faculty and Staff.

We are working behind the scenes and beyond the view of most casual observers, maintaining, servicing, and repairing the many mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural components of the education process. We are a small group of sixteen individuals, a supervisor, secretaries, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, delivery drivers, grounds keepers, and helpers that, as a team are responsible for the everyday operation and repairs of the District's facilities including;

Fifteen Elementary Schools

Five Junior High Schools

Two Senior High Schools

and three support/ administration buildings

Oh yea, almost forgot! We can not leave out the Department's Mascot, Sam, for letting us share her building.
