Author Visit

Each year the PTSA sponsers an author/illustrator visit to our school and to meet with students. Author/illustrator Richard Jesse Watson was a guest speaker at Liberty Lake Elementary on February 9, 2009. All students enjoyed his wonderful presentation and literature. 

Richard’s paintings are in galleries and on permanent display in corporate offices, conference centers, libraries, children’s hospitals, and private collections. His work has also appeared in Society of Illustrators National and Western Exhibitions and Communication Arts Illustration Annuals. Commissioned works include paintings for the Los Angeles Zoo, Bell Atlantic, Norwest Banks, Children’s Television Workshop and Mill Pond Press.

Connoisseur has called Richard Jesse Watson’s art “breathtaking,” New York Times, “Enchanting and inspiring...” and LA Times Magazine said the award-winning artist’s technique “echoes the realism of Durer.”
