0 Credit Earned Policy

Dear Parents,

The teachers in Fourth and Fifth grade have given considerable discussions and thought on how to best help ech student successfully grow academically.

Together we feel homework is as important for curriculum reinforcement as it is for teaching responsibility, communication, and independence. When students are challenged and achieve they feel a sense of accomplishment that really builds self-confidence!

The assignments this year will EARN CREDIT either for effort or achievement. ALL assingments will need to be Completed and On Time.  Therefore, work not completed and on time earns 0 credit.

Our "0 Credit Earned Policy" is not meant to be punitive, but rather a structured way for students to gain skills and the self-confidence necessary for strong academic performance.
