Mr. Olson

Classroom Environment

Every student in my room should feel safe and respected. An environment that condones learning and success is important to me. Through researched based methods, I will provide instruction for every student's needs and encourage them to do their best.

Schedule

This year's specialist schedule will follow a 3-day rotation:
Health & Fitness
Library
Music.
This prevents us from missing specialists on holidays that land on either a Friday or a Monday.
Students are responsible for bringing their gym shoes on Health & Fitness days!

About Me

Welcome to Mr. Olson's classroom website. I love teaching children because it has to be the most rewarding profession on earth. I'm still pinching myself today in coming to the realization I'm doing exactly what I love!!
I graduated from Northwest College in the spring of 2004. Some of my favorite years happened in college while making life long friends. I'd love to someday earn my masters from them as soon as they're big enough to have a satellite campus over here on the east side!
When I'm not at school, I'm enjoying being a new dad! Our daughter Emalynn was born last March & it is the coolest thing on Earth!
I love to watch the Zags with wife Sarah and friends. Riding bikes, detailing cars, snow skiing, playing my trumpet, a little bit of reading when I can and taking pictures also consume my time away from school.
