Classroom Environment
In our second grade classroom, we promote a safe, risk free, and positive, learning environment where all children can learn to be life long learners. Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire!
Schedule
Monday - Health and Fitness (2:30-3:00)
Tuesday - Music (2:30-3:00)
Wednesday - Library (2:00-2:30)
Health and Fitness (2:30-3:00)
Thursday - Music (2:30-3:00)
Friday - Library (2:30 - 3:00)
Recess - 10:30 - 10:40 daily
Lunch + Recess - 11:50 - 12:30 daily
About Me
I have lived in the Spokane Valley for most of my life. I graduated from CVHS then went on to EWU where I received my BA in education and my MA in Reading. I taught first and third grade in Rathdrum, Idaho for five years. After staying at home with my children for 3 years, I moved to South Pines Elementary and taught a 1st/2nd combo classroom for five years. I then transferred to Liberty Lake Elementary the year it opened in 1998. At LLE I taught 1st grade for 8 years. This is my 4th year of teaching second grade.
