Learning Support

At Horizon several options are available to students in need of addition tutoring.

6th grade

On Monday and Wednesday, 6^th grade students can attend a study table from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. This is designed for students to come and finish assigned work or get extra help. The Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Hawk table is designed for students who do not complete work. Rather than receive a 0% they will be given some credit if the assignment is completed. They are sent by individual teachers.

7th and 8th grade

Horizon's Study Table for 7th and 8th graders is held every Tuesday and Wednesday in Room 100 from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m.   It is available to students wanting extra help on basic concepts or just a quiet place to finish their homework. This is open to all Horizon 7th and 8th graders.
