Classroom Environment
My office is located in the main office in room # 107. I attempt to keep my environment calm and comfortable. I have surrounded my office with the characteristics I feel are important for life success. I utilize my office to meet with students individually and in small groups, parents, and others to help keep Horizon running smoothly.
Schedule
I am generally available from 7:30 to 3:15. I do not answer my phone if I am working with students or parents; however you can leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Please call for an appointment if you would like to meet with me.
About Me
I grew up in the Spokane Valley and attended East Valley Schools. I decided that I wanted to work with kids in the educational setting after spending many years coaching soccer for an area club and volunteering in my children’s' schools. After receiving my bachelors degree in applied psychology at Eastern Washington University and graduated, with honors, with my Masters in Science in school counseling at Eastern Washington University I was fortunate to work as a counselor for a middle school in Spokane and come here to Horizon Middle School in September 2008.
