School Nurse

Welcome to the School Nurse webpage for Greenacres Elementary. My name is Heather Graham.  I am registered nurse with a BSN from WSU and am currently working on my Masters in Nursing. I have been the school nurse at Greenacres Elementary since 2002. 

My goal as a school nurse is to help ensure the health and safety of students and staff at Greenacres Elementary. To achieve this goal, I perform a variety of tasks throughout our school. A partial list of some of my duties includes:

• blood pressure screenings for staff
• vision/hearing and other health screenings for students in grades K-3 and grade 5 and other students as requested by teachers or parents
• health education classes, such as asthma education and handwashing
• immunization compliance
• care plans for students with health concerns
