Noteworthy Achievements
The Greenacres staff continues to work to improve student learning through weekly collaboration, the use of best practices and materials, and the use of timely interventions for students that need added support.
Achievements
- Continue to meet AYP, adequate yearly progress, in reading and math for all grade levels.
- Our Greenacres Fifth Grade Team won the Spokane Regional Spelling Bee and was eligible to compete at the state level.
- The Greenacres Marimba Ensemble was invited to perform at the Zimbabwe Music Festival in Tacoma.
- Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades rank at the national level in First in Math and are first in Washington State on the Internet based math program.

- Extended day opportunities for students in academic areas as well as arts and sports activities
- Title I reading programs for students in grades 1-3 in tier III reading
- High school tutors
