Classroom Environment

As a community of learners we agree to care about each other and our classroom, to share what we have, learn from each other, listen carefully to the person talking, take turns, keep the environment clean, and honor our neighbor. In our classroom we understand the importance or helping others, being polite, and protecting each other.

About Me

I am beginning my twelfth year of teaching and have taught Title I, first, second and third grades. I grew up in the Spokane Valley and graduated from UHS. I graduated from Eastern Washington University with degrees in Reading and The Handicapped Learner in the Regular Classroom. I also earned my Masters in Literacy from Eastern Washington University in 2001. I live in west Spokane with my husband, Jason, nine year old daughter, Carsyn, and three year old twins, Owen and Ashlynn. When I am not teaching I am hard at play. I love playing with my kids, watching my daughter play sports, riding my horse, scrapbooking, organizing, and reading.
