About Me

I have been at Greenacres Elementary since 1988. I have taught first, second, and third grade. My husband and I have two children and four grandchildren. I enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, and golfing.

Homework: Homework packets will no longer be sent home on Friday. Homework will be assigned as needed. Check the newsletter each week for information on homework. Students will still be required to do their weekly reading log, practice spelling words, and work on math facts.

Spelling Words:
The last three weeks of school we will review and introduce some 4th grade spelling words to practice this summer.

Dates to remember:
June 9 - school barbeque (during regular lunch time)
June 14 - Field trip to Turnbull Refuge. Permission slips will be sent home on June 1. All students must have a signed permission slip to go on the field trip.
June 16 - Field Day (at school)
June 18 - Last day of school.
