Classroom Environment

Welcome to third grade! I am excited about all the things we will be learning this year. We will have units of study in electricity, geology, and energy & matter. We will also be working on improving our reading strategies and learning how to write in cursive.

Please check out the website as I have made some useful links for students and parents. I am out on maternity leave so my site will not be updated until January.

About Me

This is my 7th year here at Greenacres teaching third grade. I earned my bachelor's degree in 1996 from EWU and my master's degree in reading and literacy in 2005.

I live in Spokane with my husband of 12 years and together we have a 5 year old son and another son due on Sept. 20th!
