GreenAcres Marimba Ensemble (G.A.M.E.)
GreenAcres Marimba Ensemble
is a performing group is comprised of 4th and 5th Graders from Greenacres Elementary School. These students meet before school and rehearse using Zimbabwean style marimbas and music. This energetic style of music is contagious and lends itself to creative performance and song styles. Their songs include a wide variety of music, inclucing several original compositions by Mr. Kerley. This year's group consists of 45 students playing in three marimba groups.
