Homework is sent home on Mondays and Wednesdays, please return homework the following day. The homework should not be frustrating and if you find that it gets that way, stop what you are doing and just send me a note to let me know! Please don't spend any more than 25 minutes on homework. My goal is to get 1st graders into the habit of completing homework and bringing it back the next day.     

Monday: Reading/Writing homework
Tuesday: Practice spelling words, read for 15 minutes
Wednesday: Math homework
Thursday: Practice spelling words, read for 15 minutes
Friday: No homework!
