HOMEWORK

In an effort to save on paper and copies there will be a homework calendar that will go home at the beginning of each month. This calendar will remain in your child's take-home folder until the end of the month. Using a homework calendar will give parents some flexibility to work around busy schedules. There will be a short assignment each day (Monday-Thursday). Written assignments can be done on the paper that will be provided with the calendar. Please don't spend more than 25 minutes on any assignment. Homework is not meant to be frustrating to you or your child, so please just jot me a note if it becomes so. My goal is to begin training first graders how to become responsible for completing their homework and returning it to school.
