School Improvement Plan
All public schools in Washington State are required to have a School Improvement Plan (SIP). School improvement plans promote a positive impact on student learning, are data driven, and are based on the characteristics of effective schools (including safe and healthy supportive learning environments) as identified by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Office. School improvement plans must also include a process for continuous improvement.
Greenacres Middle School's School Improvement Plan (SIP) is divided into several sections, as follows:
SIP Action Plan Outline Math
SIP Action Plan Outline Literacy
SIP Action Plan Outline Perceptions
SIP Action Plan Outline Contextual
SIP Action Plan Outline Demographics
SIP Action Plan Outline Safety
School Improvement Plans must be reviewed annually by the Central Valley School District. The review includes active participation and input by building staff, students, parents and community members.
