We are just wrapping up our District Writing Assesment.  The kids will get scores back and be able to compare them with the results from the Fall Assesment.  We know not every student will pass, but we are looking for improvement in each one.  Your student should be bringing home a copy of this to share with you.

On Monday Feb. 12th we will begin reading the novel The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.  Students will have three weeks to finish the novel and we will be doing several activites in class.  Students will have nightly homework with this unit.  Please check their planners daily.
