All students are invited to join the fun at “Math is Cool”. Participants solve challenging math problems, develop mental math speed and learn many mathematical tricks in order to prepare for the "Math is Cool" Tournament. Each regular participant receives a t-shirt.
Regional tournaments take place at Mount Spokane High school, on Friday evenings from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Students are transported to the tournament by school bus at 2:30 PM. Parents are invited to come watch at 5:15 PM.
Tournament Dates:
AMC 8 - November 18th
6th Grade M is C - February
Practice Schedule: (in room 302-Mrs. Dempsey's Room)
6th Grade starts meeting in November on Tuesdays 2:45 PM to 4:30 PM (there is an activity bus to take you home)
