About Me

I love running and biking and being active. This summer I jumped off a 20 foot high cliff and I can't wait to jump again. I have a collection of over 60 math puzzles, so I am delighted when my students bring me new puzzles to try and solve. I enjoy traveling to new places. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family.

This is my sixth year of teaching. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies at California State University of Hayward. I completed my teaching accredidation at Eastern Washington University with a major in mathematics. As a young student, I spent several years as a geophysics major, and I have a strong background in math and science. It is my hope that my students learn to love math and science as much as I do.
