Prices subject to change pending a mid-year review by Nutrition Services and the Central Valley School Board of Directors. Parents have the option of purchasing breakfast or lunch using a weekly or monthly pre-payment option offered at each school. Eating breakfast helps students to be more attentive, curious and productive through their day. Evaluations have shown better test scores, higher energy and fewer disciplinary issues among students who start off the day with a meal. Breakfast program menu choices vary, but often include cold cereal, milk, apple or orange juice and bottomless hot toast with butter, jam and jelly. In addition to four "Full Meal Deal" lunch options at each middle and high school, an extensive ala carte menu is also available. Daily hot lunches are offered at all Central Valley elementary schools.
