Central Valley High School Opens Theatrical Season with “Laughing Stock”
The Central Valley High School Theatre Department will perform the hilariously funny comedy “Laughing Stock” November 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14. The production features students in portraying a bumbling group of summer stock actors as they attempt to put on “Dracula”, “Charlie’s Aunt”, and “Hamlet” all at the same time. This farce of missed entrances, exploding props, dropped lines and Dracula himself will keep you laughing until the curtain drops!
The shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Central Valley Performing Arts Center on CVHS campus. Tickets are $7 and will be on sale at the box office on the nights of the performances. This show is not recommended for small children.
Central Valley High School serves more than 2,000 students in grades 9-12 and is one of 22 schools in the Central Valley School District.
