Summit School Awarded Innovative School Designation
Summit School has been designated a 2011 Washington State Innovative School. A Review Panel of educators identified Summit as one of the 22 schools in Washington state implementing "bold, creative, and innovative" ideas.
State Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn delivered the news to Summit School principal Lyle Krislock. Superintendent Dorn said in his letter, "I want to thank you and your staff, parents, community and business partners for all that you are doing to make sure your students get the very best education possible."
Summit School will hold the designation for three years. Congratulations Summit School!
