Evergreen Middle School Drill Team

Practices for drill team will begin on January, 2009. Drill team is open to all 6, 7 and 8th grade girls.

If you are planning on being a member of the Evergreen Drill/Dance Team you will need to provide your own blackdance shoes and black socks. Used shoes can be purchased from local dance studios as well as some of the department stores in the area. Everyone will be issued a uniform (Shirt, Gloves, & Jazz Pants). These are checked out to each member and must be returned at the end of Drill Team. Each member will received a t-shirt that they will be able to keep. You may also use your own jazz pants if you have them.

The Drill/Dance team will be performing at 2 boys basketball game half times at the end of January. Drill team members are also given the opportunity to march with the Evergreen marching band in the Junior Lilac Parade, which is held every year the second Saturday in May.

Tonya Formanek will be taking over the duties of head coach and Debbie Herman will be assisting her. Miss Formanek has been working hard throughout the summer on the choreography and uniforms for this years program.   We are looking forward to a great turnout this year.
