

Historical Tillamook Cultures…



My work on the Tillamook culture
taught me many new things about their culture. Some things I learned is that the Tillamook
Indians traded whale blubber for beads. The Tillamook Indians did that
because they had too many whales washing ashore.. The women wore
cedar bark knee long skirts. The men wore leggings that were made from
deerskins. They also made 30 to 40 meter long Haiku plank houses, which were
made from cedar trees.
