My work on the Cheyenne Indians taught me
that they lived in tepees. Also I
learned that they didn’t have many of the things we have today (such as a
washer and dryer). They ate buffalo,
wild berries and other things they found on their land. They made clothes and tepees from deerskin
and buffalo hides. The women and girls
wore deerskin dresses. The men wore
deerskin leggings and wrapped buffalo fur around their shoulders. The boys wore deerskin leggings. Also the men and boys hunted food (such as
buffalo, antelope and deer). While the
men and boys hunted the women and girls made pottery and clothes. That’s overall what I learned on the Cheyenne
Indians.
