Historical Navajo Culture . . .

Written By Jessica Perron

Our unit on Historic American Cultures allowed me to find much information on the Navajo lifestyle. A few things that I have found over the Navajo’s lifestyle were their food, location, and their clothing. They ate many foods, such as wild berries, corn, herbs, and other animal meat. They were located in southern parts of New Mexico, and Northwest Arizona, in these spots, the climate was extremely hot. For clothing they had many interesting clothes. They wore a lot of different animal skins, but not much, the climate was hot. They also used different colors of wild berries for decorating.
