Our unit on historic American cultures

My study of the Cherokee cultures has shown me that there is a lot in

common between our culture today and the Cherokee culture. From

how many gods there were and what there beliefs are in them, to

what the Cherokee hunting strategy would be. One example of

the similarities between the two cultures are that they both would hunt

for deer, elk, fox, raccoons, bear, birds and etc. Another example

would be that growing vegetables, such as squash, carrot, beats, beans,

peas, and a popular vegetable would be to grow corn.  Finally the way both cultures

alphabets were was also

a similarity, because they both had a lower case upper case, an A

through Z, and they both would use the words to make a different

 language.
