I found a great deal of interesting things about the Blackfoot Indians, such as that the Blackfoot meat Lewis and Clark. It all started when Lewis spotted the Blackfoot and went to talk to them. Lewis spotted the Blackfoot and went to talk to them. He found out that the Blackfoot had rivals that were the Nez Perce and the Shoshone. So attempting to convert the warriors to his idea of peace on the plains, Lewis told the men that he had previously received assurance of corporation from the Nez Perce and the Shoshone about peace, In exchange for guns and other supplies. But the other tribes didn’t want to give up their guns and supplies because they didn’t want the Blackfoot to become more powerful, so that caused arguments. Still angered, the Blackfoot tried to steal their guns while they were sleeping. This was the first bloodshed battle between a western tribe and the U.S. government.
