I learned a lot about the
Blackfoot Indians. In some ways they are like our culture today, but in other
ways the two cultures are different. The
Blackfoot Indians lived in what is now called Nebraska. They lived in sod houses and in each house
lived about 4-6 people. The women wore
dresses made out of deerskins and the men wore skirts made out of deer and
rabbit skins. The Blackfoot Indians were
the meanest tribe that lived in the Great Plains. So for this reason there
is about 10,000 Blackfoot Indians left today.
They eat herbs and buffalo and some times fruits and vegetables.
