About Me
I was born and raised in the Spokane Valley. I went to CV for 10th grade and graduated from U-High in 1964 (The first graduating class from U-High) I then graduated from Eastern Washington State College in 1969. After 3 years as an officer in the Marine Corps, I began teaching in 1972 at Opportunity Elementary. After four years there I moved to University Elementary for nine years. I have spent the last 20+ years at Evergreen. My certificate allows me to teach most subjects from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I have taught in 3 buildings and am proud of the fact that my name is on a plaque in each building. At Opportunity and University Elementarys I was awarded the Golden Acorn Award. At Evergreen, I have recieved the Crystal Bell Award. I enjoy showing students how to be successful not only in school but in life!
