About Me
My belief in classroom management is that the classroom needs to be structured so that it is conducive to learning. The atmosphere has to be safe and stable; clear classroom expectations need to be talked about on a regular basis. Students' need to take personal pride and ownership in their learning and work. I will set high expectations and challenge your student to do his/her best work. I believe that the classroom needs to be a safe place, a place where kindness and respect take top priority, and that positive learning environment is what I will continually try to provide.
I am a graduate of Eastern Washington University with my teaching emphasis' are in English and Special Education. I also have a Master's degree in the TESOL program, teaching English to Students of other Languages.
I love teaching and being a teacher is a truly wonderful career. I have been at EMS for nine great years!
My class motto is:
"Together we can"
Together we can make this a positive learning experience for your child.
