A review of various types of assistive technology software will be reviewed and will include ways in which this type of technology can assist students within the special education setting to support goals and objectives on the IEP. Participants will also learn how to adapt pieces of the curriculum using components of the assistive technology and how to “build in” an AT program within the special education program. The AT covered will include programs that support written language, as well as programs that help build language skills overall. |
