Last year, we reviewed numerous social skills instructional strategies/tools. This year, grounded in Understanding by Design, this presentation will demonstrate the integration of academic learning standards and social skills instruction. We will share different curriculums, social stories, and visual supports designed to teach appropriate behavior. We will also discuss reinforcement systems, preference assessments, daily behavior report cards, and student specific behavior books. Join us for learning different ways to teach social skills within the academic contents. |
