In accordance with the licensing requirements of the Department of Social and Health Services, the childcare program serves children between the ages of four weeks to 6 years of age.
- Infant/Toddler Child Care: (4 weeks-36 months): A safe, nurturing environment for children ages 4 weeks to 36 months. Educational toys and enrichment activities, music, arts and crafts are provided throughout the day. Children will have appropriate time for naps and rest.
- Preschool plus Child Care: (3-6 years): Full or part-day child care with a preschool experience for children ages 3-6 years. The program includes breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Arts, crafts and games will be provided. Preshcool is held for two and a half hours Monday through Thursday.

Enrollment Procedure
Contact the Central Valley Early Childhood Program Office at 228-5810 or stop by the Early Learning Center at 10304 E. Ninth Avenue for up-to-date enrollment information. All forms and registration fees must be completed and on file before a child may attend. The child care registration packet consists of the following forms:
- Enrollment Form: Family information, emergency contacts, insurance information
- Health and Developmental History
- Certificate of Immunization: Must be complete and up to date before child may start or exemption must be signed
- USDA Enrollment Form: For breakfast, lunch and snack reimbursement
- Parent Agreement: Indicating the parent understands the discipline policy, agrees to emergency medical assistance, etc.
- Discipline Guidance Policy: Outlining procedures for disciplinary action
- Emergency Form
It is important for the program to have current information on each child to help provide a quality experience and appropriate care for the child, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially. All information is kept confidential.
A registration fee of $50 per child for all child care programs, not to exceed $100 per family, is payable upon registration for the program. This fee is non refundable and must be paid before any child can receive services.
