Chester Students Celebrate "Walk to School Day"
Chester students and staff participated in the International Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 8. This program promotes safety and fitness for children.

Fourth Grade Assessments
The 2008/09 Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) will take place between the dates of April 13 and May 1. You will be notified of the specific dates for assessing each component of the WASL by your child's teacher before the assessment begins.
Fourth grade will be assessed in the areas of reading, writing and mathematics.
