Teacher of the Month
Dan Kleckner and the KXLY crew came to Chester to honor the Teacher-Of-The-Month, Toni Skeman. Julia Adair and Jessica Clutter both wrote letters to nominate Mrs. Skeman. Thank you, girls for wanting to honor your teacher in such a special way. Congratulations, Mrs. Skeman!!!

Fifth Grade Assessments
The 2008/09 Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) will take place between the dates of April 13 and May 1. You will be notified of the specific dates for assessing each component of the WASL by your child's teacher before the assessment begins
Fifth grade will be assessed in the areas of science, reading and mathematics.
