Read Across America Week

 The first week of March is celebrated in elementary schools across the United States as Read Across America Week. This is a time to celebrate reading as well as honoring popular children's author, Dr. Seuss.  Chester celebrates this week with different activities going on through out the week, ending with a Bake a Cake for Dr. Seuss Contest. Students are encouraged to bake a cake with a Dr. Seuss theme to share with the school.
