Classroom Environment
I teach morning kindergarten at Chester Elementary. The three basic components of my daily classroom routine are large-group or circle activities, small-group workshops, and independent work in activity centers.
I try to ensure that each child has a pleasant and positive learning experience.
Kindergarteners learn through play: multiple opportunities for play occur during the day. The environment in my classroom is a place where they make friends, can be a friend and can develop a sense of community.
About Me
I have been teaching since 1975. I have taught in California, Germany(DoDDs), Alabama, Kwajalein Island, Washington, Korea, and Kuwait. I am thrilled to be working with a great staff and wonderful students.
