Classroom Environment

Teaching and learning at their best occur in an environment which is safe, inclusive, and stimulating. A safe environment fosters a healthy sense of self-worth on the part of each individual. Each learner in our classroom is different and special, and contributes to our classroom team.

About Me

I am so excited to be at Chester! I spent my undergraduate years at the University of Washington and Eastern, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Children's Studies. I received my Master's in Teaching degree from Washington State University. Therefore, I'm both a cougar and a husky! I love spending time with my family, friends, and dogs. During the summer, I enjoy camping and spending time at the lake. I am always available to students and parents, so please feel free to come visit, call or email.
