Classroom Environment

Teaching and learning at their best occur in an environment which is safe, inclusive, and stimulating. A safe environment fosters a healthy sense of self-worth on the part of each individual. Each learner in our classroom is different and special, and contributes to our classroom team.

About Me

This is my second year teaching 4th grade at Chester. I spent my undergraduate years at the University of Washington and Eastern, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Children's Studies. I received my Master's in Teaching degree from Washington State University. I love spending time with my family, friends, and labradors. This summer I spent lots of time playing with my brand-new niece, Anna! I am always available to students and parents, so please feel free to come visit, call or email.
