Honor Society
Honor Society helps students continue in the development of skills in leadership, service, scholarship and character. Scholarships and college entrance are possible benefits to its members. Members wear honor cords at graduation and have their names starred in the program. Academic letters are available. This group is involved in one service project per year.
Members in Middle School Honor Society do not automatically become members in the Honor Society at the high school. Membership is by application only. Requirements include 3.5 cumulative GPA, community service, leadership, character references and one semester at Central Valley High. Dues are $8.00 per year. Meetings are held at least once a semester after school in the choir room. AN ASB CARD AND SIGNED PRIDE-HONOR CODE ARE REQUIRED.
