CV Cheer takes 5th place at State!
CV Cheerleaders placed 5th out of 9 teams in the Varsity 4A non tumbling division. It was one of the most competitive divisions in the competition! Our girls hit all their stunts and nailed their routine. This is the first time in 8 years that CV Cheer has gone to the WIAA state Cheerleading championships!
The competition was held at the University of Washington's Alaska Airlines Pavilion. 63 teams competed, and CV was 22nd overall score! The day was capped off by a parade of teams were they turned off the lights in the arena, and used spotlights to highlight each team as they were announced. All the teams wore glow sticks and fun glow and the dark apparel!
I could not be more proud of our girls, they did an excellent job and represented CV well. GO BEARS! Coach Ernst
