Course Description: Individual sports is a course designed to improve student understanding and application of the principles of health and fitness. Students will participate in sports or activities on a daily basis; learn rules of games, teamwork and good sportsmanship. Students will set fitness goals based on fitness testing and an understanding of the components of fitness. Students will review nutrition, fitness, and health principles. Cardiovascular and muscular conditioning will be a part of every day in conjunction with; tennis, badminton, pickle ball, bocce, croquet, bowling, fitness circuits, fitness testing and other activities.
