Central Valley High School Advisory Mrs. Carson Student and Parent As you know completion of a community service project is required for a passing grade in Advisory. This project is due for completion the spring semester. Several service opportunities have been presented over the course of the fall semester and many students have taken advantage of them. They have included the food drive, clothing collection, volunteers for elementary school carnivals and so forth. This is a reminder that you have not fulfilled your obligation and are in jeopardy of not passing Advisory. A passing grade in Advisory is a requirement for graduation. It is up to you to find a situation which interests you and complete your service project. You need to serve at least 5 hours for credit and have the attached document signed by a supervising adult. Your project needs to be done free of pay and provide a needed service for a segment of the community. Hopefully you will find this a rewarding opportunity and gain knowledge of others and insight into the greater world. Please sign below so that I may know that you have received this communication.
