Classroom Environment

The Choir classes are located in the E Wing in room number E104. In addition to the rehearsal room, there are six smaller practice rooms available for individual work and small group rehearsal. Built in 2002, these facilities are among the best in the region.

About Me

I have my Bachelors Degree from Boise State University and Masters Degree from the University of Oregon; both in Music Education. I also did two years of Doctoral work at the University of Northern Colorado in Choral Conducting and Jazz Pedagogy.

Prior to my nine years at CVHS, I taught vocal music at Eastern Washington University, the University of Northern Colorado, North Salem High School, Western Oregon State College, and West Valley in Spokane.

I am currently the Master Director of the "Spirit of Spokane Chorus" of Sweet Adelines International. In October of 2007, we will be competing in our fifth consecutive International competition; this year in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I also direct the award winning "Pages of Harmony Chorus" of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
