There are many students who cannot wait for the next school year of music to begin.  A great way to satisfy your music appetite and to improve your playing, broaden your experience and make new friends is to participate in many of the area summer music activities.  Whether it's concert, jazz or the marching arts that get you excited, the Spokane area has something for you.  Follow the links below to plan a funfilled summer of music and performance.

• EWU Summer Music Academy - Workshops and Masterclasses

  A great place to study music theory, chamber music and even private lessons!

• EWU HS Jazz Dialogue Summer Camp
  July 29th - August 4th, 2007 @ EWU - Cheney, WA
  Study and learn from some of the most outstanding jazz educators and performers from across the region and even the country.  Purely jazz!

• Spokane Thunder Drum and Bugle Corps
  Variety of summer dates - lots of travel.
  For those that can't wait until the fall marching band season - make sure you check out the opportunity you have here in Spokane to march with a drum and bugle corps down to California!
