Classroom Environment

English Language Development (ELD) is a class for students who have a language other than English as their first language. We have students from all over the world. The primary focus of the class is developing the English skills students need to be successful in the academic setting- reading, writing, listening and speaking.

About Me

I have been teaching since 1986. I have taught classes from middle school 8th grade Language Arts to college level ESL methodology courses. I am an ELD teacher and facilitator at Central Valley High School and the Central Valley School District. I have taught English Language Arts, ESL/ELD, Russian, GED and computer courses.
